Have you been thinking about starting your own Thermomix business? Or are you interested in joining the team simply to earn your TM6? There are many different reasons to become a consultant because we all live very different lives. And with how much our world has changed there is now also a lot more flexibility when you build your Thermomix business. You can build your business face to face or virtually, or both. The choice is yours! You can read more about working with Thermomix here.
My reason for starting my Thermomix business is very different to the reason I am still a consultant today (6 years later). I have written blog posts about becoming a consultant, the training and the perks and even some tips about being a consultant whilst working full time or being on maternity leave. I am now a mother to two gorgeous girls (aged 5 and almost 3), still working part time in my local government job and now I am also studying kinesiology. So simply put I am a busy woman!
You may be wondering how I fit Thermomix around all that I do. To be totally honest with you I simply make it fit where I want it to. My family comes first so if we have busy plans then I block that time out for my family. I am always available to my customers if they have any questions or want to have a quick chat. But in terms of building my business I keep my availability on my terms. And with the new flexibility to work virtually it is a lot easier to ensure I maintain the work life balance that I want. I can work from home while my girls are busy playing with their toys or watching a movie. Sure they pop up in my zoom calls to say hi to my customers but once the novelty wears off they go back to doing what they were doing. I plan to start doing some Facebook lives but I’m not sure I’m ready for the random interruptions yet. I imagine it will be like when I am on an important phone call and the girls decide that is the time to have fight. Yet that is one of the realities of family life so I should just embrace it already!
We all have our own commitments and lifestyles. The best thing about having a Thermomix business now is that you truly have the flexibility to build it your way and you are empowered to work smarter, not harder.
